ok....? its not worth it.....

theres only 4 nuts/bolts holding on the control arm. from the moment i slid the jack stands under the car, i had the arm off in 30 minutes. and this was the first time ive ever done this to this car. its really not that hard to remove/install.
the ball joint ($25 part) MIGHT take 2 minutes to remove, depending on how nice of a drill you have (mines fairly nice). MAYBE 5 minutes to install and tighten the nuts/bolts on the new one
and the bushings are $13 a piece at the gm dealership. $20 to have 1 removed and reinstalled.

i could care less about how much "easier" a whole new control arm would make the job.. i have more time then money
