    I have a 2002 GTP that just rolled over 120,000 miles. I've finished updating a bunch of things to make the car ride what feels like new again including the following;

-Upper/lower intake gaskets & valve cover gaskets
    -MAF
    -Wheel bearings
    -Tie rods
    -Control arms
    -Brakes
    -Sway bar links
    -Misc. switches/bulbs (Headlights assembles ect)
    -Tires/balance/alignment ect ect..

I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of things but I've done 90% of the service myself and get parts slightly higher than a whole sale price. My cost has been around $1200 including the tires and labor. I haven't really modded the car because it's DD. I change the oil every 3K and keep up with everything nicely. The car burns no oil and has no leaks, after 3K the oil still looks really good for the age of the car.

I have the following mods on the car..

    -Custom FWI
-Custom boost gauge (I see ~5-6.5 psi)
-res delete (I think it sounds decent, to each his own)

I've just placed 2 orders and to say the least I'm excited

    -Headers/no cat
    -180* T-stat
-NGK Spark Plugs, 2 ranges colder
    -New SC belt
    -Rented ZZp's pulley puller
    -3.4" Press on pulley + A TUNE!

My cost is ~$420 shipped for everything. Add about $30 for misc clamps/RTV sealant ect..Under $500 installed by me of course.

I've done enough research that I think I have the baseline covered for a solid high 13 sec with little to 0 KR. Stock it went the time listed below. Any suggestions? Everything will be installed next saterday!

yep, theres something about waiting for mods to appear in the mail that returns me to that feeling of waiting for christmas morning.... just was never quick enough.

As for your time/trap etc. I have no clue, I'm just a gt so speed & power are useless to me, lol.
At least it seems you've read-up on these cars and are on the right track, good luck and have fun!

edit...was like wtf, that pic wasn't there, nice coupe
Its just a car.......with rust and dreams for the future!!!!

Well I choose the press on because I don't plan on taking the car any further. To go anything lower than a 3.4 IMO is pointless, I'd rather spend the cash on a turbo set-up. I'm only going to have the car for about 2 more years or so at the most so these mods are for a little power jump..I hope!

I've seen videos of worked motors (heads, cam, gen5 on a tiny pulley, intercooled, meth ect ect. get walked by a stock motor turbo setup. Even then I'd have to go into the tranny and it's my DD.I almost feel like I'm already pushing it with the parts I ordered. I just want to run on a 3.4" set-up safely for a while and enjoy the rest of the life thats left in the car.

It's not exactly new and the body has a few minor spots of rust starting. I plan on taking care of that before winter hits though. Really though it has 120,000 miles on it. Don't get me wrong the car runs great but my goal is not a race car lol. Just something with little more power for under $500 which I think I may get.

Those of you who went from stock to these mods how was the difference? Worth the $400-500 bones?

I will try and get some better pictures today. After I get my car out of the shop I'm going to degrease the engine bay and clean up some small rust spots/paint chips. I'm pulling the belts off to inspect my idlers/pulley's to make sure thats in check for the mods.

Mostly I just don't want to blow up my car lol I'm REALLY meticulous about this stuff.

Only thing I will say...you will HATE your exhaust note after the headers since they are catless. Other than that...looks like you have a good list.

Yes I have a funny feeling it's going to sound really bad lol. Headers/no cat/no res/stock cat back. Right now it sounds just a tad louder than stock. Although I never heard a GTP that sounded good besides at idle. The ones with cams sound amazing until you romp on it. I'm just not a fan of the sound.

I got the cat less headers because I wanted to reduce the risk of the motor knocking and the most power out of the setup.

Should it be a noticeable power jump from the stock set up to this stuff?

Beyond yes. A Basic 3.4" setup with no knock makes it a totally different animal...although you will be left with wanting more...at that point...I'd suggest a ported M90 and 1.84 Roller Rockers and a custom tuned PCM. Those mods...and maybe along with some extra timing with race gas...should net mid to low 13's if you can drive it IMO.
