I've used a 13/16" on the filter?....granted close enough. I tried for 2 days/2-3 hours total, and said **** it. Will let someone else deal with it. Though they will probably kink the fuel line and charge me for it.... which kinking it was my biggest fear. i got mine off and it was no problem at all, but i'm having this damn problem on my buddys, 5/8 wrench and a 3/4 wrench and then i tried big ass vice grips and still nothing, i even sprayed it every day with pb blaster for 2 weeks and still nothing~~~!!!! i may just cut it like you said. but I'm iffy with sparks and gas, so i told him to take it in haha
