I just received my bluetooth OBD today, same one that nickbuol has (Wireless Auto Scanner Bluetooth OBD2 Car code Reader: eBay Motors (item 220692478075 end time Nov-09-10 14:44:27 PST))

I downloaded Rev 2 Lite on my iphone 3GS.

I plugged it in and I only have a red light showing, I cannot find the OBD tool via bluetooth.

Also, I have not been able to find any videos or info on the net about how to pair the devices and get them working, just vids of them already working.

Has anyone successfully used with an Iphone??

    Thanks in advance.

Put my aeroforce on, it was 35* outside. Shows 13.2# of boost up from 11.5# when it was warm. Kr shows 4.5 to 5 max, up from 0 when it was warm. I hope to have time tomorrow to test again and do a compare with my Torque ap. I just downloaded the newest update to Torque so I hope it's ready to go.

Let us know! I am still waiting for the new Droid X SE to come out but I want to get this if it will save me the money of buying a phone and an Aeroforce.

i haven't given Torque any thought as of late, but i'll see if i can get any/all extended PIDs to work.

in case anyone is wondering, Torque does work for all standard PIDs such as: speed, MPG, RPM...

the bluetooth adapter allows you to connect to any program that utilizes ELM327 protocol, such as Movi.

    97 GT - slow, rusty
93 CTD - more slow, less rust

Boost is already there. I've seen it working. As for KR, I haven't messed with it yet for that.

I have a droid but the process should be the same. First sync your phone with the adapter. Pairing code varies but mine was 6789. THEN look in torque for the info.

ordered my bluetooth obd today from here today:

DealExtreme: $28.57 OBDII Bluetooth Car Diagnostic Cable - Black + Blue + Orange (DC 12V)

I have a moto droid thats overclocked and will be downloading the app tomorrow. will keep everyone updated. really hope this works. Ill buy an evo with a car mount and hard wire a built in charger in the mount if this works as well as it has seemed for others in this thread. and i thought a pillar pod would look cool .....
04 GTP - FOTB, Intense PCM, 180* Thermo, SLP Headers, 3.4" ZZP Modular Pulley, Moroso Race Wires, 104 Plugs, TEP trans: 3.29's, Thrasher shift kit. Soon to come: 13 inch dual piston brakes, rims and tires, wideband tune by PRJ.

It will work but some features may work better than others or possibly not at all. If you want to try the full version before you buy it, just download my app I posted a couple posts above.

    Good luck!

Do you say that bc of the phone or the bluetooth device? And thanks, I appreciate that!
