I'd say a gummed up throttle body / idle air valve. pretty easy to do and at 100K it probably needs it.

no spin ons, and no drain on the pan... but you shouldn't take it to a shop either. get yourself a good filter and some Dex6 and you're good to go. I'd do it myself just to make sure the fluid is right.Are there spin-on filters and a trans dain hole, or should I take this car to a shop?
