Okay then... at my store... options are as follows:

****ty house brand filters that used to be made by fram but switched to china for cost reasons

    Standard cheapo fram

    Quaker state filter

    Fram synthetic

    Fram high mileage

    K&N

In the back we keep the better Frams and we're soon going to be carrying mobile filters.

lmao You read my mind, just not the 10W-40 part. 10W40 = in WI But then again pure syn might be ok in that weight

10w-40 is too thick for newer engines. The celerances are too tight.

i ran 10w40 all the time in my car to keep my oil pressures up high where i wanted them. no problems ever with it.

    nah, its fine.

i always ran store brand dino oil and fram filters on my car and it ran like a top. i think anyone that seriously buys synthetic and runs it all the time is a complete sucker. these motors take anything so long as the oil gets no water in it or you run it low (or lose oil pressure). screw a $50 oil change, ill do mine for $20.

Oxymoron...Fram is junk no matter which version you choose.

If you want a cheap oil change, go with Wal-Mart SuperTech...some of the better oil and filters out there, and definitely the best bang/buck.

I use Mobil 1 oil and filters.

    Was a joke really.

But at the same time I do know GM fully stands by their OLM. Even thought they use a fairly robust algorithm for the OLM, it can’t compensate for all the variables.
Its kinda funny that honda uses this system now. I was talking to a honda owner about it and he swears by the Honda OLM but wouldn't trust the GM for anything.
