oh yes and sorry this is on a 1998 gtp 4 door automatic
easy should only take ya a half hr. if that, get the coupler first and the oil they are hard (sorta) to get most of tyme there outa stock
1 take belt off
2 unbolt snout
3 pull snout off remove old coupler
4 put new coupler on
5 line snout up with coupler dont force it should go on with ease if lined up properly
6 make sure you put sum kind of sealant on snout (can get at gm).
7 bolt it up
8 fill it up with the special blower oil (can get at gm)
9 put belt back on
10 you are done![]()
What he forgot to mention is the oil in the blower is some nasty smelling sh1t that you might not want all over your engine
If it were me i would take the blower off to do it
but that would mean pulling the injectors and fuel rails
Use a turkey baster...everyone has access to one and it does just as good of a job.
i replaced the SC oil this weekend i had the entire upper intake off and just turned it upside down on my work bench took like 2 mins to drain out. smelled Horrid.
takes about 8OZ's to fill FYI
Because the LIM is so far up in the motor.
