Okay, i just bought my car 3 days ago. I drove it 14 hours in just snow and ice! Got it home took it to a car wash. Then the next day my Dic is blinking 0.0 on everything! oil trip all of that jazz. Also my tcs and abs light came on. i turned the car off and they went off. later that day the tcs came on and was twitching on and off it seemed like everytime i hit the gas or the brake. Then the abs light came on. 2 days later it hasnt changed. I have checked the connection to the pcm. I took it out sprayed contact cleaner in it and plugged it back in. The dic now says 15.7 for mpg but soon turns to 0.0 again. Im so lost with ths thing. I orderd a new dic maybe that will fix it? Any opinions?? Thanks for all the help!

idk about the DIC but im deff having the abs/tcs problem. mine started flickering on and off as you describe but now its constant. Ive heard that a wheel bearing could fix that but im not positive....also could be your alternator going bad. i know that would cause the dic to keep reseting

I don't think the problem lies in your DIC, sounds like a wiring or alternator issue.

If everything is re-setting after your turn the car off it might be a battery issue also. I would test your battery and alternator, if that doesn't do the trick maybe start looking at your wiring harness. I do know that not having your wheel bearing sensors hooked up will wreek havoc on your TCS and DIC readings...so make sure all 4 wheels are hooked up correctly and the wires are in good condition

As far as the tcs and abs that sounds like a wheel Bearing, Mine did it when the wheel bearing started but it stayed tight for four months before I changed it just because I wanted my tcs an abs back. The other posibility could be a bad wire conection some were and water from the snow and ice is shorting out a circuit some were but thats just my thought.

Also i ohmed out all of the wheel sensors and they all come to 1.04. So they are good. I checked tthe wirs going from the fromt wheel sand rear wheels just to the second connector and those are fine. What else is there to look for?

For anyone who subscribed, it was my EBCM. Wich is a Bosch part that connects to the "brake block" with a large connector on it and has 6 brake lines attached going to the master and wheels. I stole mine of a parts car(2000 ws6 trans am) i had laying around.

The trans am module wouldn't work. I needed a 98 GTP one.
