Okay, so I am putting on the modified rockers from zzp on my gtp. I replaced the valve springs with L76/L92 springs and used the retainers from the L76/L92 engine as well. The rockers are not coming in contact with the rocker plate, all the pressure is on the pushrods and valve stems, prior to torquing them. Basically I don't know if that's how its suppose to beI thought when I unbolted the stock rockers they just sat down on the plate. I haven't torqued them down yet cause it seems like if I did it would keep the valves open. The springs are installed at 4.5cm(about 1.77") is that right? I don't know anything about the lifters on these cars, but are they designed to compress. If they are how could the rockers be torqued accurately? I feel like I need shims under the plates for it to be right. I don't know, this is my only form of transportation so I need to figure this out quick.
