I was looking around and found this. I plan on removing my cat/u bend and replacing it with a glasspack and placing the o2 bung with this DIY emulator. Think it would work?

it could work since its just checks cat efficientcy by raising the o2 sensor out of direct exhaust flow it would read way less of the exhaust

98 gtp sedan forest green ,S1X intense cam,Intense pcm,Magnaflow exhaust, ubend delete,TEP trans 3.29's,3.4 smoothflow mps,Dyno'd 281hp and 371ft #'s of trq at the wheels

the subbie guys do it all the time. they just put a spacer in so it can read less of the gases flying by it and wont throw a cat code.

so this would be a good solution to buying the emulator and still not mess with my fuel trims?

the rear o2 sensor is only there to make sure the cat is working properly no other reason your fuel trims will be unaltered
