Going to have a 2000ish Regal one of these days and I'm saving up some mods for it. Knowing how we all loathe the engine bracket, when I picked up an L26, I kept the aluminum pan with the motor mount as part of it.

Looked to me like it would be the right placement and height to replace the horrible bracket mount. Anyone have knowledge of another that did the swap and checked the height etc?

I do not remember what we exactly did, but it wasn't a direct fit. I want to say we did use the l26 oil pan, but i cannot remember. The bracket may have needed some cutting/trimming? This doesn't help at all.

Bio..it's the same block. It'll fit there. It looks like the mount is in about the right place and should go in. I've heard there might be a little trimming needed.
