    my 2000 gt shakes a lot when i accelerate at around 80 KM/h but is fine when i am just costing any one know whats wrong

    bad front bushing? bad tires? what is 80 km/h? like 55 or so mph?

    snow/ice in your rims throwing off the tires balance? thats a problem im having right now

    It could be your tires out of balance. Have your tires rotated and balanced. My car did this for awhile until i fixed it. If its a super bad shake its your cv joint. And NO you shouldn't just live with it. Get it replaced or replace it yourself ASAP.

    Don't mean to hijack PNIGZ, but I have been fighting the same problem. New cv's, new rotors, new motor mounts, re-balanced the new tires and it is still shaking on acceleration. Could one of the new cv's be bad?

    wheel bearing or tie rod ends can also cause these symptoms

    I threw new rims and tires on today off of my 94 grand prix, and it already has new wheel bearings. I will take it in and try an alignment on it and see if that helps.
