Haha, What do you have? I'm looking to change up my setup for next year, just trying to get an idea what other people have and what sounds good. I'm thinking of sticking with the 10's but different subs and amps.
Install 10's where your rear 6x9's are and have the box attached to the woofer via t-nuts/bolts through the sheet metal where you mount the sub.
Build it small and light and it might work.
Amp is an amp is an amp, as long as its designed properly.
Subs are pretty marked up. Look through the ID brands and see what you can find.
Mach5audio
SoundSplinter
FiCarAudio
Creative Sound Solutions
Google those for more fun...
And visit Partsexpress.com and take a look at their Dayton subs, bass on the cheap.
some ppl dont like the boom in there trunk but i sure do one thing is i got the clean dump not that nasty dirty down south rattle i did my setup correct i dynomatted the whole trunk and foamed the smaller areas.. everyone has there own taste im not hating on yours but i perfer the louder music
Umm I'm not saying your taste in sound or music is bad, but i'm saying how you installed it was less than "good" if you're trying to maximize the sound level inside the cabin, where you sit to enjoy the music.
the level inside my cabin sound awsome, i have more then enough sound inside there with my poke audio components u see that bigg a** amp in the trunk, that aint bass thats all mids and high daddy sits behind the boxs which is even bigger then the mids and high one..but for the most part i understand what your saying man
oh yeah and u took my idea. i was going to get that body kit and then get my car painted black with two white rally stripes down the middle and 20 inch chrome rims that looked almost like thoose. . . talk about sexy . . .
