Hi all, I am going to do the intake gaskets on my 2002 GP GT this weekend and need few questions answered before I start......thanks

    1) Will garrage tempeture...40 degrees if I`m lucky....cause any problems ?

    2) Should I use the RTV sealant that came with the gasket set ?

    3) Do the coolant elbows need a sealant ?

    4) What needs to be done to switch the coolant?...just flush and replace

any other words of wisdom that anyone would like to share will be appreciated........thanks again

use the aluminum gasket not the plastic one. get a space heater so your not freezing the garage. and go over the links above a few times before you start. be sure to have injector o-rings, there are 2 on each injector.

yep i'd put rtv, grey or black, on the coolant hoses and too replace antifreeze, just flush and use the storebrand advance auto antifreeze cause prestone makes it, . and x2 on the heater, u'll freeze!
