ok, i wasnt sure where to put this thread. so i guess right here, and i was searching for one better never found one, so my apologies if there is already one.

ok, well ny 97 grand prix gt, has the moonroof/sunroof but like ive said before its reconstructed from in front. air bags were deployed and all but everything is fixed now. dnt like the frony bumper it has. and thinking of changing it but, back what i was trying for. well when the impact happend the sunroof or moonroof watever its called. wouldnt open or close anymore then it is. its just popped up from back. luckily its like that if not my interior would have to been replaced now. i was wondering if there might be a sensor or somthing id have to reset or what do you think???

I think I can answer the part of your question that doesn't really matter. A sunroof opens up. A moon roof is just the glass that does not open(old). All sunroofs are moonroofs, but a moonroof is not a sunroof.

ummm so what your saying in all of that is that your sunroof doesnt open anymore? yes there are fuses to check and see if they are OK. however, if the roof is tweaked/not aligned properly, then i supposed its possbile that the sunroof wont open/close properly anymore.

mine is the same way... slightly popped up in the back like its not completely closed. I have to keep the sunshade closed because of the wind whistleing over it.

it's fairly easy once the headliner is out of the way (3 bolts hold the motor in)
