Slightly slower with 20s, but it really depends. Honestly you may not even notice a difference. I would worry about your rims cracking or bending on potholes more than anything.
20s are usually pretty heavy. you can find some lightweight 18s if you want to pay a premium. if you want to go fast on street tires you just dont buy big wheels.
but that being said, i love the way these cars look tucked on 20s.
Personally I'd never put anything bigger than 18s on a GP.
if youre making a fast car then dont do big wheels, but its a fact that the bigger the wheels you can fit on the car WITHOUT raising the car up the better it looks. 20s are the correct size wheels to do that.
i luv my 20's. i had stock rims w/toyo spectrums (good tires) but they would spin out a little, even in 2nd gear. the toyo proxys i have now grip the road like tape. traction is good. but havent really noticed any difference! I guess if i was taking it to the track i prob would stick to 18's but this is for everyday use.![]()
