I'm getting a Boost gauge cuz I'm tired of the fancy light-show in my DIC. It tells me nothing. What I need to know is; what kind do I get? where I get it? &, will it come with everything to hook it up?

Hmm. I might just get this. Gonna hafta get the A pillar pod cluster too. I'll go ZZP on that since everything else looks like cheap oily ABS plastic

get a cause with a 20 psi scale. you want to know more of an exact reading then maybe not catching it on a 30 psi scale. you can MAYBE hit 20 psi on an m90 if its the winter and youre on a stupid small pulley. or you have a stock downpipe on a 2.8 or something retarded.

get any mechanical gauge. they are all built the same. hell, you could realistically use any type of air pressure gauge if you get the right scale and hook it up correctly.

either of those would work. you just dont want an electrical one with a sending unit. you want one that youll have to tap into the vacuum lines.

I'm running AutoMeter Ultra-Lites. They match the interior fairly well at night with the amber lense cover. And don't look like ****ty advanced gauges. Not big on the carbon fiber look either to ricey. Have a oil pressure, trans temp and boost in the zzp a-pillar.

Auto Meter Ultra Lites here...plus...they light up the same color as the dash EXACTLY with the red bulb condom

I now have boost on the bottom, then elec. oil pressure, followed by a volt meter up top...as that was my old setup.

Yeah, the cobalt gauge turned out to be an AutoMeter. It's installed now. In park the car dosen't seem to get Boost until I really gas it. It goes up to 9psi. guess that's not too bad if the reading is acurate.

youre not supposed to be able to build boost in park or in neutral when youre not moving.

    9psi sounds right with a 3.4 pulley.

The gauge only goes up to 9 psi or your car only maxes out at 9 psi. This sounds a little low to me......of course with your " flow mods"(LOL) that you have done, who knows what it should be with that type of set up. I have 9 psi on my stock pulley sometimes. Usually it maxes out around 8, but I have seen 9 more than once.
