I got 10psi on a 3.4" and 7 psi on a cold day stock...so it sounds like the blower isn't that bad after all...guess I might have to look into this Cobra-esque porting job...get a WOT vid though.

Velocity decreases but overall airflow increases with a port job like that. Without outlet cfm/ air temp testing, we really wont know which is better.

I may consider doing something similar as i will be going twincharged and dont really care about velocity as much as overall airflow of the blower, since i will be pressurizing the inlet.

Driving around it got 7psi. Max. I'm wondering what would happen if the pulley were a size or 2 smaller. Idk if I would do that. Btr to go back to the stock blower.

Go on, do it, it'd be cool. It'd only give you about eleventy billion more RWHP.

Or blow your engine up, one of the two.

I'll pass on your eleventy billion RWHP & instead switch M90s.

yes it is a good idea as the stock one is useless and not accurate. The install depends on which type/style of gauge that you get. You can get mechanical boost/vac gauges that hook into the motor bay, and you can get an electronic(aeroforce for example) that ties into the OBDII and you just hook it up to that and a power source. I would get one aeroforce gauge first because it can do so many things. I think there are more important things to monitor than actual boost though(oil pressure, knock retard, trans/engine temp,) if you are ever going to get a custom tune a wideband O2 is a must have.
98 GTP Coupe- 180* T-stat, GMPP Front Sway Bar, Dual Aeroforce Interceptor's, TDC FWI, TDC Taylor 10.4's, ZZP SS Plog, ZZP 3" SS catted DP, ZZP MPS W/3.4, AL104's gapped @.055, 3800Perf. PCM

    ELEVENTY BILLION?!?

    Hush your mouth.

Last I checked it was only like 98.438 million rounded to the nearest square...after the divisional practices.
