so in my search for a scanning device, i decided to go with the scangauge 2, primarily because it monitors kr... my main concern. bought it 150 new and i like the design of it, i never wanted to put a gauge pod in my a pillar. well anyways the first time i set it up and try to test it out after getting the kr monitor set up (the x-gauge features allow you to set up some guages that were not there from purchase) well i step on it and see it go up to 36...so im thinking great.. i blew 150 bucks but i found out upon setup there should be a decimal point so 3.6 sounds reasonable to me. i then found out from a google search that someone made a way to program a boost gauge, also not there from the start.. there is manifold pressure but not boost... (takes your manifold pressure currently minus what you set the manifold pressure at key in engine off-so ambient pressure- and thats boost) sooo in conclusion, here are the numbers i got so let me know if they sound reasonable for a 2004 gtp comp g with nothing but a wizair intake
knock- peak between 2-3 shifts came to 3.6 im hoping this is accurate since its the main reason i bought this
boost- at wot it stayed constant at 7.9 psi but spiked to 9.4 between the 2-3 shift im thinkin this sounds reasonable since its the gen-v and i have virtually no exhaust mods... yet
and numbers for fun because i in no way believe thise thing can give our hp and torque readings
hp- peaked at 257
trq- peaked at 278
now.. since its prom the obd2 port, it would be crank hp and torque, and for just reading sensors... id say thats pretty close to the factory ratings haha
well what do you guys think? mainly about the boost and kr numbers btw
