I think I know the answer to this already but would appreciate any advice that I can get with this issue(s). I just got done installing my 3.4 MPS, 3800 PCM, AL104's. Now, I should have enough supporting mods to safely run the 3.4 set-up. I am getting as much as 12lbs of boost, and as high as 4* of knock at the top of second gear. What is my best bet to get rid of the knock? It runs awesome and feels good, but I am concerned with the knock. I am NOT going to put on headers, so please don't suggest that. Is it just all in the tune? I wanted to buy a 3.5 but they are all sold out right now and not available. I don't mind spending the time and money to get rid of the KR, but I will not be going beyond the 3.4 set up. I may go with roller rockers but I dont know how this will affect gas mileage and knock. I realize porting my LIM and SC would reduce my boost, but would it help with KR or not really? I never had any knock at all with my 3.8 but I did have boost on the top end of 7-9psi. With the 3.4 and the raised shift points I am now @ 12lbs.It is only 35 degrees here and I hate to see what it will be in the summer. When is the best time to tune a car? Is it when the worst case scenario presents itself? Warm weather or cold, does it matter? If there are any more questions that I can answer please let me know. My upgrades should be in my sig. Any real advice is welcome. Thanks again people....
