I think you prob have the 195(factory temp) thermostat in there now. I just flushed mine this last weekend( I used the home kit- first you drain it completely, then rinse it up to temp......then run cleaner at engine temp for 4-6 hours mixed only with water......then rinse it thoroughly again........then filled it with Peak green long life anti freeze...... this way I have guaranteed no mixing of fluids) anyway I switched to a 180* thermostat while I was in there and plan on getting a tune at some point to adjust fan turn on points.......Otherwise mine acts almost the same as yours... I can almost watch the temp gauge go up on my dash if I am on it for a little while. as soon as I let off it comes back down to normal operating temp........as long as the temp doesnt get too high I wouldnt worry about it.
