I replaced my heater core last weekend, and when I had everything put back together, my HUD had turned metric and my Trip Computer doesn't light up. Fuses all look good. I don't know what it could be. Any ideas?

On the dic, it will allow you to switch to metric, it also controls the hud. Its labeled eng/met if im not mistaken

You know what, I'm stupid and I knew that. I was freaking out cause I thought I had unplugged something and would have to take the whole interior apart again. Thanks

Well that fixes the metric issue, but the DIC light is still out. Maybe it's just a dead bulb? Think I just got unlucky and it all happened at the same time?

The dic is gonna be a bulb. There are like 3 bulbs that backlight the display, you can either replace them with normal incandescent, or go the led route, which would be better, brighter.

when you go the LED route does it still dim with the lights or is it on full strength at all times?

Im not sure, i know its brighter. I have not actually done this myself yet although there are plenty of members on here who have and could probably answer that question.

it should dim as well. when I replaced my interior lights with LED's, when the lights start dimming out, so does my new LED's just like the stock bulbs but insted of dimming to a finish, it'll dim alil then just go out. so Yes I would think so.
