I am planning on removing the u-bend tomorrow and I am not sure if I will have the tools to weld it back on very soon, so my question is what will happen if i just let it hang, or secure it somewhere, in the meantime. Also I just want to make sure im correct on this, the stock pipe is 2.25" wide just so i dont get the wrong size.

Have a exhaust shop weld in a universal bung or DIY it...they should be less than 5-7 bucks. If you don't have it tuned out it will won't be helping your car any that is for sure.

The rear O2 not being there will not hurt a thing, nor will it mess with fueling.

The front O2 yes, but not the rear O2 that would be affected by a ubend delete

i havent had a rear o2 sensor in months and my mileage is the same as it always was, and my engine runs as fine as it ever has. the SES light comes on every week or 2 but thats it, and even then it doesnt affect how the engine runs
