Im fairly sure i bent my throttle cable bracket gettin' on it and i want to see if anyone has a pict of the bracket so that i can confirm such things.

Also if anyone has one laying around and would like to sell it, give me a shout.

how do you bend the throttle cable bracket when youre getting on it? its not like the blade would stop short giving you the ability to pull on something else..

I have no clue. I sat there and tried to think it through but i cant figure it out.

It also bent towards the throttle body inlet. I think it had to do with the cruise control, but i was pullin out of the parking lot and had to boot scoot from gettin hit and the throttle hit the floor and only would to to half throttle.

took a look at it once i pulled over and both the throttle and the CC cable were detached from the throttle bracket. i reattached them and the cc held the throttle open.

so before I go any further, I would like to see some pict's of a bracket so that I can confirm that it is in fact, bent.

That way I can solve the problem or eliminate this solution.

I would but the LS1 is a bit different

Are your clips broken? Mine broke a long time ago and they would pop off from time to time causing the pedal to go to the floor and I couldn't go...FAIL lol

Zip Tie fixed it...but I don't think that even mashing it would be strong enough to bend that throttle bracket IMO.
