I hit a curb a couple of months back and bent the cradle a bit in front. Everything seemed ok until about a month ago. Then I noticed a clicking sound from the right front that has been getting worse, so I took it to a local garage.

They said the cradle needed to be replaced because the bolt is bent which is causing the clicking and a new bolt won't go into the existing cradle. They said this is fairly common in GP's because the cradle is aluminum.

They also said the lower control arm needed to be replaced along with the bolt. Total price $1975, ouch. I picked the car up because I need to get the mula together. After leaving I noticed my steering wheel is off center.

Question: Should I bring this to the dealer for a second opinion and since it is a big job have them do it? It concerns me that they gave my car back to me with the wheel off center.
