A GPS is the MOST accurate tool that most people have to measure speed to date. Which makes it 100 percent accurate.
How can we say that the most accurate tool we have for measuring speed (amoung a lot of other things) is not accurate when we have nothing MORE accurate at the present time?
OK, completely dodged the issue again, but that's fine.
We do have more accurate ways of measuring, just not in real time. Going to the other specs of GPS systems, most consumer WAAS based systems have an accuracy of ~10 meters RMS. The best you can do is with an RTK system, which will get you back within 1 inch every time. Does that make it 100% accurate? No, you sill have that 1 inch error. Just because it's the best we can do reasonably do in real time doesn't make it 100%.
there is a reason why the cops generally give you a 5mph buffer anyways...
