Okay i've had this issue since i purchased the car but here is what happens. When im cruising along at pretty much any speed and let off the gas all the way the rpms either stay were they are or slightly raise for a second or so then finally go down to 1000 rpms or so where they should be...I have no idea if its tranny related, vacuum leak?? thanks in advanced...

First guess is TPS (throttle position sensor). Might check around to see if anyone near you has a scanner - that's pretty easy to detect. You might find an Advance Auto and see if they can pull a stored code as well. SES light on by chance??

Take you IAC Idle air control off (located on the TB and clean it along with your TB.

Nope, no SES code. How would i go about checking if the TPS is bad? The guy at autozone mentioned this as well when i asked about the issue.
