    wondering if it would work on a my 98 GTP so I could put a 99 pcm in
    05 gtp- k&n open cone, intense tune, cat delete
    99 gtp- sold
    97 chevy 2500 diesel- heath turbo master, custom cai, 4" straight exhaust
    70 chevy c10- 6.0 swapped, still a project

    the MAF is the same between the L36 and the L67, but the housing on the 97-98s is different than the 99-03s. You could use the 99 L36 MAF only if you have a 99+ TB.

    Really. I could have sworn the MAF's were completely different due to the larger bore TB. You 100% sure on that?

    I've got one from each sitting in my living room right now, they are the same.

    He's right. The one from my L36 works perfectly in my L67 TB. Also they're the same part number.

    Why would the MAF itself need to be different for a larger bore? It's the MAF table in the PCM that would need to be different.
