Is performance shift supposed to light up on the screen in the middle of the dash that tells you the boost fuel mileage, etc. cause if you look at it in a certain way you can see where it lights up, but ive never seen it light up.

No i mean in the LED screen in the middle of the whole dash not the gauges. If you look you can see where it lights up at.

Check the forums using search or use Google. I found tutorials on how to install the option using those methods months ago.

In some cases you need to have your control module re-programmed with the option turned on to make it available. Some ECMs are already programmed for it. You also need the shifter with the button on it to enable/disable the option, or you need to wire up your own switch on the dash, etc. to control the option.

I believe ZZP offers an "always on" Perf Shift option for control modules they program.

I didnt know you could put a bulb in on the screen. I knew that you could on the perf shift light on the gauges. So i guess there are 2 perf shift lights on when perf shift is engaged

The DIC is an LED display, no light bulb needed... The Perf Shift and BOOST gauges are controlled by the control module... You have to have a programmed control module for those to show up...

I have performance shift wonder why they didnt make it work on the led display. because the green perf light works fine on my gauges when its on. Im about to get a DHP pcm will that allow the LED performance shift light work? My boost gauge works fine too

i would say it again, but i didnt know it was on the digital screen. i thought he was referring to the other side of it where youd need a bulb. i have a non-digital one, so i dont have any of the cool stuff.

    Haha. Right on....

As for the DIC... Did you pull it from a yard, or was it factory installed?

Here is the guide for installing the DIC:

Funny this thread is going, I might as well join in.

Since the weather has warmed up, it seems my performance shift doesn't stay on. When I go over even the slightest bumps the performance shift light on my DIC flashes on and off. Does anyone know if I need to actually take the shifter apart and re-wire it or something? Any help would be appreciated.

But to the original thread starter- yes, it should light up on your DIC when the button on the side of your shifter is engaged... don't have a fix though, sorry.

My "perf shift" light comes on in the gauge cluster. It's a bluish green. I am referring to the DIC. I can see it says "performance shift" on it but it does not light up. I'll look at those links, hopefully it can help me.
