I have 8000k, and have a bluish tint, if you want blue get 10000k or 12000k hids.

4300K is white. 6000K is blue. 8000K is purple. etc.

it depends where you buy the bulbs and if you get cheap ones and what not, but what i listed above is the true color scheme in Kelvins.

i have also tryed this- eBay Motors: BLUE XENON 894 FOG LIGHTS 04-06 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX (item 260385448033 end time Apr-01-09 13:54:31 PDT)

I have had bad luck with those.
they say they are a replacement stock bulb but do they need a ballast to work?
anybody have a certain brand they like or have pictures, thanks dustin

the higher you go with the Kelvin rating the less usable light there is and more color there is. i wouldnt go any higher than 8000K if you like to see at night.

go to Systems Integration Plus, Inc. - Main Page and order them, theyre like 62.00 to yer door.. You either need 9007 size bulb if you have a 97-03 or a 9006 size bulb if you have 04+. Get the 8000k bulbs. they ship fast and they have had nothing but positive remarks about them. you dont need the wiring harness, just make sure you have a really good ground and you wont get any flicker.

never, they should be aimed correctly just like regular headlights.

a lot of those 'xenon' halogen bulbs are actually worse than stock because they try to change the color so much that the light output is lowered.

First off Some miss information in this thread:

    1. 43/4500k is Pure white
    - 6000k is ice white. Think of white LED in most cases.
    - anything after 4500k you are decreasing the light output.
    - Think if the K as a color spectrum ROY G BIV. The higher the k the more violet the light gets.

    2. 99.9% of aftermarket bulbs for stock replacement have less light output then the stock bulb had. This is because the bulb is tinted. Even the beloved sliver star has slightly less light out put because the bulb is tinted. The real silver star made by osram in Germany are the real deal as long with GE night hawks, Philips 50+. These will provide the most light output over all.

    3. The saying they should be aimed like regular headlamps is not 100% correct. This is because we do not have the lens for HIDS thus the beam pattern is not the same and hids systems are meant to be used with a system with a sharp cut off of light to prevent glare. So if anything you need to aim them down a bit.

Yes HIDS will out preform halogen lamp system any day of the week as long as the reset of the system is designed for it. If it wasn't it is a gable
