nope the extion has been changed along with a brand new sensor

i just ran through this same thing.....use a denso, they are better than a bosch.(i know, i refunded many when i worked for advance auto parts) denso is more accurate. i read up and searched them before i bought it and i am sold on them now..![]()
Well you have something wrong. Either a bad sensor or soldier connections that were not done right or other types of connections that have come loose.
The two brown wire's are for the heating element. And they have no polarity. Be sure you match the wires up correctly. It is a pain in the but. I did it also with a bosh sensor.
