I have a leak and it's around where the throttle body is. It runs around the uim gasket on that side but I can't seem to figure of its tb gasket or uim gasket. Last time I saw the leak, I found a loose stud on the tb to uim on the bottom so I tightened it but stripped the stud so I just switched the studs around and put the bad one on top.

So I plan on going to jy and pulling some tb to uim studs and replacing the tb gasket.

I just replaced the uim and lim gaskets a year ago and I did the uim with all new plenum, and dorman upgraded egr pipe for uim. What could it possible be? Coolant is only coming from the tb side. I have no coolant in the oil.

Like I said the coolant leak is right around under the tb and I can't tell if it's uim, the uim gasket, or tb gasket. I dread pulling uim in this cold michigan weather

Alright. Is jy best place to get a set of the tb studs and nuts?

I had this leak 2 weeks ago and the lower tb nut/stud was loose as could be so I took tb off and reseated gasket and put it all back together and now it's leaking in same exact spot. I just did the uim gaskets last year with the dorman upper uim kit with upgraded egr tube. Can these gaskets go bad that fast? Torqued too tight?

you can get them at a hardware store. take a old one in with you, match it up. or swap to a bolt.

alright well i went to the jy and pulled off 3 studs and nuts. i replaced the tb gasket with a fel pro one and tightened everything snug. i didn't see any coolant inside the UIM. the old tb gasket is a orange or red dorman and appears to be a little pitted around the bottom of it where it seals the coolant ports. i compared the gasket sizes and the old dorman appears to be thinner around the bottom and the fel pro is thicker. i didn't see any warped plastic around the UIM meets TB area.

can the gasket go bad? it's a year old. can it just flatten out if it's been tightened too much?
