Trans shop left mine loose and one rear eventually fell out before I figured it out. I was going to replace mounts also but found upon further inspection that oh... despite the oil soaking the originals are in fine shape. Just the lip of the metal shell rusts and that rubber around it comes loose but the meaty mount part is fine. Not worth the hassle to replace.
I say tighten them with car on ground because if you were to jack it up by the front of subframe that may compress the fronts more and be misleading. Theres a sleeve in the bushings so tight is tight but well on the ground is easiest.
