    hey guys, my friends grand prix has had this problem for some time now. all the lights will strobe. well more of a dim to bright pulsation that goes on. it really gets annoying. and we cant figure out why. does any one have/had this problem.

    I'd guess it's probably the alternator. Many auto parts stores will test the battery and alternator for free.

    possible it is a thing called a body control module controls most lights on the car...my 01 did it with headlights and interior lights replaced that and it fixed the problem

    I would check the alternator first like warhell said, most shops will do it for free or like 10$ and only takes a few minutes.

    ok i will have the altenator checked. how much does that body control module thing usually run.

    its the voltage regulator which is built into the alternator on these cars. Some tests may not show this to be bad, at least it didn't for me. My solution? Get a Lifetime Alternator from OReillys and all problems went away.
