The ones I pulled out this weekend were brittle, cracked, and leaking. I don't know who's' they were ( I suspect stock GM ) but the boots had sharp bellows and the new ones I put in ( from Auto Zone 60 bucks ) had soft boots with curved bellows like your new ones. By the way nice picture of where the ABS bracket is and how the wire gets to it. Seems like a bad design. Has anyone tried to Glue the ABS wire with something like RTV , epoxy, or even JB weld to the inside of the mount do it can't make contact with the CV shaft. I suspect it can get pretty beat up in icy situations. I would have tried it with mine if it were warmer so the glue would set up. Seems odd they are design to just lay in there stretched up to the bracket . Nice job getting it back on the road.
