Hey guys I installed a new kenwood head unit last night so that I could have 3 sets of pre out for my door speaker amp and sub amp. I got everything connected last night and it seemed to work ok but u had a humming noise at low volume. This morning I went out started the car up and the humming seemed to be gone so I then put the HU back in the dash and in that process now none of my speakers produce sound only my subwoofer. Thinking its a grounding issue?

Does anyone have any idea if we connect the all blue wire which I believe is the antenna wire, or the orange wire thats illumination on the head unit. In having trouble and not getting any speaker sound and I'm not sure why.

Best advice I can give you, buy an adapter kit, that is designed to pigtail to the radio and then naturally plug and play with the GM factory plugs. Install the stereo that way. If you continue to receive no sound, report back. Kenwood stereos also have a built in safety if it feels a short or a fault somewhere it won't output sound through the normal speaker channels.

Ya I had this install kit but I was trying to run an external amp for my door speakers so I was connecting everything via the rca connections. Either way the brand new amp ended up being defective because I tried another amp and it works perfect.
