    hey guys this is my first post and i just need this settled i would like to know what size pulley i should be running. my mods are borla exh,cai,u-bend del,180 t-stat and a pcm. i know this is a sensitive subject and i do not want to destroy my pistons.thanks!!

    you CAN run a 3.4, but it isnt recommended. you wont blow your engine or anything, but your car would be faster with a bigger pulley and more timing.

    mine runs fine with it and i beat all kinds of gtps with a bigger pulley and the same things so i dont know its up to

    No one can tell you what size pulley you need without scanning. You need a scan gauge before you can make that decision.


    Everycar is different. Two cars with the SAME EXACT MODS can and WILL run totally different.

    that is true. a good friend of mine has the same exact car with the same exact things in it except mine is a 2 and his is a 97 and he has MSD wires and i dont, but we raced like 6 times last night and beat him everytime by at least a car

    With all my mods I still can see up to 4* knock retard. Altho it was only 40* out when I scanned it.

    You do not need colder plugs till you start dropping pulleys. There is a P-log for sale here for $90. That would probably be next for you unless you are planning on getting headers.
