No idea, was there before I got it.

I use the pinch welds, mine are still good shape.

That looks more like they hit something. Weird. That is a clean underbody!! I've seen nothing like that here unless it was parked in the winter, or undercoated from the start.

So with the car on the ground I reached around the wheel and grabbed the end link and it started moving around up and down and making a clunking noise. So looks like that's my culprit. Are junkyard ones any good? I gotta go there tomorrow to get some parts for my mom's car.

Not likely. Just order some from RockAuto.

I did my rears recently and what worked good for me was to loosen the upper nuts, but leave them on a couple turns, then jack it up to stands, then work the bottom off, then reach in the trunk and spin then off.

It took you 26 posts to realize what someone said on the 2nd post? Why would you go to a junkyard for a maintenance item, I hope you dont get your ball joints there.

where's the best place to jack it up at? I live in the rust belt so my pinch welds are a little weak.
crawl under car, grab rear sway bar as hard as you can and push up on bar to reduce load on end links and as you are pushing up the bar, grab end-links and wiggle them to see if there is play.

Lack of planning on your part does NOT constitute an emergency on my part.
