    well most of us on here are not as RICH as you are. not all of us have $10000+ in tools just laying around we work with what we can afford. yeah your way is the proper way but how many of us have that kind of cash for them fancy machines you got? my guess is nobody

    Well... For starters ... I grabbed a vacuum pump and on eBay for $68. Hose set with automotive fittings included for $45
    this was for a buddy of mine. He's used it every summer now with friends and family and made some side cash doing it as well
    If you don't have nitrogen available, any local HVAC shop would do it next to nothing. Every employee has at least one tank of it on their truck/van


    also - you ding dong, I'm LOCAL - so he doesn't need $1000 unless he wants me to replace the entire system

    let's have a HVAC mod day at my house next weekend! Crazy guy brings the stuff over, some dude brings R134, I supply beer, we work on his car and mine.

    edit - I have it all but the nitrogen. Nothing soap/water can't fix if it still has enough refrigerent in it
