OK long story short. My fuel pump went out so I got one from a yard for for $20. Works good but no gas gauge. Does anyone have a how to on replacing just the small pump? Be cause I wanna swap the good pump into my other pump that had a working gas gauge.

Might be easier to swap the good sensor to the good pump.

The assembly lifts up as one unit. do it slowly to drain fuel. Also as you lift..you'll see the sender rod and float. Don't bend or hurt them.. which means move the pump until you can sneak them out
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
