Are there any ground wires to the icm or pcm i might have knocked lose? I have that one ground wire on the lower stud underneath the icm but thats the only one i can think of

Maybe Scotty should of informed you about kr before he walked you through building a ticking time bomb no one said 4° of kr was that bad untill I posted about it.....

its kinda common knowledge you dont want any kr. a blip at the shift is one thing, 4º before maxing out the rmp's is a whole other story.
Ya its deffinately not scottys fault if the piston did get damaged it would be from my stupidity and unwillingness to wait

To be fare though there are still a fair amount of other things that could have gone wrong besides Chip not to mention its onviously not that bad of a misfire if its not even setting a "real" code

id still buy a tuner before i spent the same money on a dyno tune. thats a one time deal too.
lap tops can be found super cheap on Cl look for old ass XP units. they work just fine for tuning. i got mine for 25 bucks, then 13 for a new battery, and it works just fine.
i installed win 7 on it too. all i use it for its tuning, light tuning related down loads off the net and thats all use it for. but it would do just fine for normal everyday pc use. just a bit slower then you like vs new stuff thats out today.
Well i kind of want to figure out this misfire issue before i spend money elsewhere in case i have to swap a motor. Unless somehow a tune could be responsible for missfiring on only one cylinder which i dont think is possible

Did you pull the plug and make sure it's good and not cracked on 3? Is it misfiring at idle, cruising, wot, all of them..? I've seen 3 to 5kr on my topswap when I had a vac. Leak and she held...I would doubt that you did damage if you got off of it right away..but every motor is different...also, check the injector wiring harness for that cylinder..make sure it's not frayed and it's holding onto injector.....have you sprayed carb cleaner to find vac. Leaks???
the t app will monitor misfires, so set it up for a gauge.
Plug is good i know its misfiring at idle because thats when the pending code pops up but the missfire is very subtle you deffinately cant feel it while driving i have not checked the wireharness for the injector but i will in a couple hours

Ok scotty i got the misfire counter going so the gauge on t pro reads up to a thousand my current misfires is showing anywhere inbetween 0-10 mostly its at 0 and 2 revving the engine doesnt seem to have any correlation with the misfires either

Ok so i swapped pcms and on first start up i was getting a count of 100-200 misfires only in cylinder 3 my o2 was also not working and my fuel trims now are also botg in the negative 20s??

dont drive it with the belt on with the na pcm, it will blow up.
the ft's will be all fed up due to the injector swap, l67 are larger.
swap that plug with the one next to it, see if the miss moves. really seems like a cracked plug.
I had the belt off and i already swapped the plug out. I cant think of anything else it could be unless its the exaust valve not sitting right since those valves were pretty toasty
