I looked at my suspension one day when car was on a lift, and the linkage was all cracked after 15k miles. I ordered heavy duty linkages, they were coming one day, so i took the one side tire off, loosened the linkage and my sway bar broke on the top part of it clean off. bottom part is still there, but it looks like a common problem with these hollow sway bars.

Anyways, i got the sway bar ordered, im 70$ deep as of now, and a extra set of linkage for the car now. When installing, I had to remove the tie rod from the knuckle, I didn't take the tie rod off the inner tie rod, just took the castle nut off, and moved it all the way up so i could get the two bolts holding the sway bar to the frame.

Now my steering wheel sits at like 1 o'clock, it was dead center. Do I need a alignment? I would prefer not to ruin a set of tires, but this car is getting aligned every month it seems like. Since feb I have aligned it 4 or 5 times.

make sure you got the tie rod end all the way back in the knuckle, other then that not much else can cause that.
