I wired the aeroforce up today and all seems to be going well except it doesn't display properly. It is setup for kr and water temp. The words show up but the numbers don't. Is this thing boned or what? I used an add a circuit fuse and everything is hooked up according the the guide on here.

It's receiving power, but no data. Check to see if your OBDII port is working.

I was following the instructions on here. It turns out my car needs both harnesses and the jumper clip to get it to work

That can't be right. Removing the jumper cuts off the power received from the OBDII port so that you can use the harness. Using the harness AND the jumper means you are getting power from both the OBDII port AND from your switched 12v, which can damage the Aerofroce, or your OBDII port.

Your OBDII port isn't working right, the fuse for it is probably blown, and running your gauge this way is putting 12v switched to the port and giving it power.
