Well I finally got around to using my HF DA polisher if anyone still cares. I was able to compound the whole car (minus front bumper) with just one pad before it shredded. I took it off and cleaned it twice.
I washed, clay barred, washed again and then compounded. It came out pretty good. The paint is smooth as glass which is nice, but there are still some imperfections and light swirl marks in certain spots (mainly the hood). Maybe the polish will remove it.
Tomorrow I'll be polishing, waxing and throwing on the summer tires/wheels. I just need to bang out some fender dents and the car will look good for the first time in a while lol.
