confirmed some "big brake" fitment questions on a cruze for 13" dual piston brakes, just needs the pattern redrilled and a rotor only hub centric ring.
finding 17+inch 5x105 wheels would be his biggest headache
for the water pump you can loosen the lower bolt of the PS pump, remove the upper (leave it and your spare 13mm in place), push the pump downward (swing it), then slide the bolt back and it'll hold it out of the way of the wp bolt.
on some cars the PS hose dont let you push it down far enough to lock it out of the way but you can still swing it or use a buncgie cord from below to hold it away
I tried that, it wasn't going low enough. Re aligning it was cake anyway
heard a chirp under the hood, think its the sc tensioner pulley again.

Damn Scotty that Regal is on like Donkey Kong! Looks like its tough to find a play area in yer neck of the woods.
This video is actually relevant to the whine conversation, however its totally clueless because the car appears to be NA (wheres the boost go in? lol) but an early Olds swap. Its worth the half hour if you can tolerate b&w thats over half a century old. I'm hooked on the show and love the shiny cars. You-all might get a chuckle or two:
So ive been getting some KR recently at 80% throttle. anywhere from .08* to 2.2* in a couple cells. I moved up to a 3.4 pulley and got the roughly the same results. Then i found this......
So im thinking that my lower motor mount (pass side) is causing false KR.
What do you drive? An industrial diesel generator? Lol
