Its not bad, only time its happened on the one where I can't detour around. If it would hve happened on my wayto work I would have went back and called in lol. Screw chopping a tree up at 4am lol
It's not always on a dirt road. I wish I had pics of the tree that fell in the middle of the road I used to live on. It was fcuking huge. A bunch of friends and I were sitting on my back porch, which had a direct view of the road and the tree and as darkness fell we knew there was a possibility of epicness occurring. People loved to drive way too fast on that road and lo and behold we hear a truck coming down the road at about 60 (speed limit was an unmarked 25 mph) We see the headlights of the truck approaching then hear the tires lock up and the truck go all the way into the tree top. LOL
He put it in reverse and had to gun it to get out. Fcuked his truck up good. lmao
It took a day or two for the township to come clear it too.
I went to a buddy's wedding today, someone didn't know how to park and 3 wheeled it coming down the hill around it. Nice to know I don't have much body flex, lol. got a few compliments too,.
Hey ya got one? Nice! Which one is it? Even a friend of mine who didn't really want one if he had to spend a little money on one (yet he has a $600 phone) soon realized he loved having one after I let him borrow my old one, just to give him a trial run lol. Now he will always want to have a cam running.
Have not tried it out just set the date, stuck it on and went back in the garage. Got the Cobra 820, was that same as yours? Traffic is getting more ridiculous and my dang hand arm wrist whatever all of it still sux so never again, on the commute. Its a necessity with so many new citizens in my area.
I bet I will chop the power connector off the dash cam and use spades so I can plug it into the 69GP sometimes...
I had the CDR 810, which I didn't like because it was really bad at night. I currently have a mini 0805 which I'm pretty happy with. Remember those cams take up to a 32 gig card, and work best with a class 6. I'd recommend the Samsung class 6 32 gig card, it worked the best with my cobra cam.
Rear facing one would be hard to do without defroster lines getting in the way. Also it might bake to death in the sun, my front one is not in the sun much being its right at the top kinda under the headliner.
Oh no it's not that bad, Even just a slight hill will make it happen. I'm nowhere near rolling over when it happens. My wife and daughter didn't even know, lol. I'm not talking about going fast around corners, I'm talking about hitting an awkward angle.
Like this, but the tire will be a foot or more off the ground lol:

I'd use a backup camera there, wouldn't I? Maybe by the tag lamp? Anyway I know the cord and cam are gonna get baked in hot weather so I may include stashing it in the parking routine. As is, I gotta unplug it anyway. Cord should hide and reach the fusebox but for now it plugs in console. I noticed the cam got pretty hot while the battery was charging.
Tinted my windows today, not even going to try the back one anymore. For the fronts it turned out mostly fine, until the last one on the RF I apparently went too hard with the heat gun and made a permanent crease. Oops. Gonna order a new RF piece and fix that. I have the messed up piece sitting on the window without the release liner peeled for now.
Difference between 20% and 50%. If you look at the front one way, it looks like its not even tinted. Most ways looks super lightly tinted. That's what I was going for, shouldn't ever get ticketed for that. From that picture they look the same, oddly
