Sent the old girl to the junk yard after 15 years and stripping every usable part for the GTP. Picked up a set of 17" SSEI rims at the yard for $30 a rim.

Cleaned my trunk out. Found the usual stuff; rando parts, tools bag of junk. I also found tranny oil spilt all over the spare wheel well and for some reason a train set.

Am I the only person that doesn't think roof rails look super amazing? Its not that I think they look terrible but I wouldn't pay more then 10$ for them. Deffinately not 100 which seems to be the average.

^^^it is kinda hard to justify the price for them. I got lucky & dad ordered them new through work & got a nice discount. Still cost over $100 though. But they've been installed on both my GP's now. So idk if you like em you like em.
I've seen some pictures of 04+ cars with roof rails and an actual roof rack that looked pretty sick but Idk how that would look on the 97-03Quote:

For anyone else who might be curious, the stock exhaust on an 04 GT2 WILL hit an Addco 22mm rear sway bar. At least I'm pretty sure it's the stock exhaust. Might not be, the resonator looks very different from most other stock resonators I've seen on here...

It's just as rusty as the rest of the exhaust and the weld looks much too clean and uniform all the way around, which is why I figured it was stock. I've been wrong before.
I fixed the wiper pulse motor for my windshield wipers so I have intermitten wipers again! Yay!
Work light died before I did the job. :(

uses a usb power bank i had laying around with 10,000 mAh capacity, so it should last a marathon under the hood session. The power bank is velcroed to the back of the bar as well as some spacers and 4 magnets to have the light stick to the hood.
except for the power bank everything was about $20
So far I am very happy with the results.

They run negative camber from the factory, so as long as they can get it in spec you are good.
Been busy lately. On Sunday I went to a concert. Despite the rain all 3 bands were bada$$. Local H, Volbeat (need to get that album), and Metallica! ... 5 rows from the snake pit area. Fortunately they seemed to play about 1/2 and 1/2 on each stage so I think I got the best spot without paying the snake pit price. It's the only time I've ever had to run across the field at Busch Stadium.
