Haven't even touched mine for almost a month, this whole "training" thing is the most pointless endeavor I have done for the army to date.

Oh, and I got rear-ended during a routine convoy, if you could call it that, dumbass behind me was texting while driving and practically destroyed the one piece of equipment that I actually work with.

Over $750,000 worth of damage, and I'm supposed to somehow uncrumple steel and "fix" sensitive, delicate electronics...

Where did the logic and common sense go?

damn I never knew that was possible. I thought it was only something people would joke about. I think the next test should be how each color egg tastes. He may be onto something here. I just assumed brown chicken brown egg. Brown chicken brown cow

It was an "off-road" convoy through the middle of the desert, and the max speed was 10 mph. An up-armored LMTV is pretty effin heavy, and even at 10 mph it still packs one hell of a punch... Especially when the driver doesn't let off the gas until he looks up from his phone and realizes he's pushing someone else along.

Got my GP in my garage since last week. Had a new baby and took 2 weeks off of work so I won't need to drive it. My father in law will be dropping off a 2003 Malibu he got at auction for $270 for me to look over and diagnose/repair brake and heat issues. Other than that, it's a good runner with 100k miles on it. Got new tires priced for my wife's Chrysler 200. The General Tire RT 43's I put on 35k miles ago...2 are past the wear bars, 2 are just about there. So Mavis will prorate me a set of 4 Cooper CS5 ultra touring tires, installed for $350 plus tax. So that's good news for me. 80k mile tire that originally cost $135 a tire.

Went to the junkyard and got stock headlight brackets so my headlights would stop shaking like a stripper trying to pay for college. ☺
