Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0
I looked at my Grand prix lol. Still not on the road. Waiting for the judge to release my grandmothers will from probabte. Supposed to be by the end of September. Sucks not driving it and it sitting in the single car garage taking up all my work space. Been like that for over a month.

The hell they are. if your trailer is dragging the trucks bumper to the ground, the trailer is not loaded right. why have the weight of the engine on the tongue when it can be over the back side. or balanced properly over the trailers axles.
if your sun roof flew of thats something you should have secured before taking off. aka human fault, or murphy showing his ugly face lol

heres the rules of the road my friend. "you" the "driver" are in charge of this load. if "you" failed to inspect the load and its tie downs and so on, its "your're" fault.
lets say a tractor trailer driver picks up a open trailer with cargo strapped on it already. he hooks up and leaves on his trip with out a "pre trip inspection" something falls off and kills someone, or what ever damage. whos fault is it? yup, the driver, the load is in his control.
Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0

Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0

Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0

Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0

If you don't know why then you should never tow anything, ever.

Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. I've towed a lot and hauled heavy loads in the bed of pickups a lot. Level, evenly loaded loads haul better and SAFER. When you have the ass of the truck squatted the front of the truck gets light and makes driving unsafe.
Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0
When I was a young-un, my dad and brother bought a '69 F100 so they could sell some firewood that they were getting from my uncle. I remember that poor truck being loaded to the roof with firewood, rear bumper dragging on the ground and the headlights aiming for the sky. I road shot-gun on a delivery with my brother and he couldn't keep the damn thing straight; wnadered all over the place. Funny and scary! LOL

As said both above and below this reply, he answered, and answered correctly. There is no rule against loading a car backwards, unless it negatively affected tongue weight.

Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0
Something interesting on my 06. Even though I keep my foot at exactly the same throttle position, a second after the 1-2 shift more power is suddenly felt and heard. It's always done that, only at moderate acceleration. Full or light throttle it doesn't happen.
My CEL came on just today on my ride home, haven't checked it yet.
