I intend to draw the line at drive-by-wire. I'll go back to carbs if I gotta. No rush, I can't seem to wear out any 3800s.

There's enough mods/parts out there to continue with the 3800 for awhile, most of us already come or have came to that the conclusion, partout or demods are the best time to grab some upgrade for the low, that's one of the reason I love the 3800 scene mods are rather cheap especially compared to other cars but I learned a long time ago to keep your expectations reasonable, if you think your out running v8 and majority of the newer gen cars. Its much more then that.
Glad I switched to my project Camaro. At least no one will cut off my supply of V8's and parts.

If I do pick up another GP it'll be a 97-03, LOTS in the jy's up here. That or just flip the broken ones. lol
Old muscle cars will always have there place
the best I can find right now is a '73 Riviera... talk about a BOAT. lol
Currently on the hunt for a '78 to '83 Malibu wagon.
I saw one today. Its coming in for work later. Red with white top.
If I've learned anything here, its that ZZP quitting 3800s should be cause for a festival. Nobody here talks good about the stuff but its on dang near everybody's somewhere.
I'm not gonna lie, I have quite a few parts from Zzp, but a chromoly trailing arm, and a few suspension bushings ain't gonna be catastrophic

the only thing that might be form zzp is the ic pump, id have to ask marshal where he got it. and of course the plug on it sucks, i had to cut open the plastic box covering the tabs and then soldered the wires right to the tabs. bosch pump, but zzp sells them, so i blame them lol
I can say I have nothing from zzp...mostly because I can't afford the shipping. lol
My point was that from what I've heard, the reaction to them dropping 3800s should be joyful. Theres two items from them on mine.
I would have gotten a plog, if they were in stock when i had the extra cash...
Bought a snap on ethos to read BCM codes, Been trying to figure out this service vehicle message. My bcm had no voltage on one side to compare its voltages so I was getting a B1390. Ended up being a fuse that was never in the car when I purchased it. So no more messages!
